Job Description Nokia Optics team is expanding and looking for highly motivated and experienced professional engineers to join us to develop next generation systems, in a very fast growing and competitive environment. All positions require a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience. Main responsibilities:- Ability to develop state of the art electronic devices and IP for Optical communication
- Proven experience in the deep sub-micron silicon technologies
- Ability to work in multi-site international development team
- Design of ASIC devices for processing of optical signals
- Masters degree or PhD in Electronic Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, or related discipline
- 8+ years of demonstrated experience in deep sub-micron ASIC design
- Skills in VHDLVerilog development and ASIC verification
- Experience in DSP and FEC design is preferred
- Experience in high speed analog design
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving
- Team work and ability to work with international teams in multiple time zones
- Ability to communicate in English
