Location: On-site field work in New York City and surrounding areas with remote office work
Requirements:
1) Must be NY licensed Architect or NY licensed Professional Engineer
2) Minimum bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, or a related field
3) Experience with and comfortable using Auto-CAD
4) Minimum five years of exterior façade restoration experience
5) Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook
Candidates should be familiar with FISP (LL 11/98), PIPS (LL 126), parapet inspection (1 RCNY §103-15), and the repair and renovation of building envelope systems within the New York City metropolitan area.
Successful candidates must be independently motivated and organized with strong project management and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities include:
1) Evaluation of existing building façade systems and performing full building inspections
2) Must be able to prepare full drawings and specifications
3) Identify and resolve technical/construction issues to communicate and give direction to contractors
4) Prepare cost estimates to remedy building deficiencies
5) Deliver outstanding customer service through timely responses and proactive solutions
