Job Description:
The Ivy Key, Inc. implements effective standardized test preparation programs (SAT, SHSAT, SSAT, or Regents/ELA exams) to schools and community-based organizations throughout New York City. Our programs have helped raise test scores by an average of 15% per student, and provided our scholars with a broader range of educational opportunities.
Our programs are all staffed by highly trained graduates from top universities. We are looking for dynamic, experienced teachers/tutors to lead programs of 15 to 25 students.
Programs are held once or twice a week in the afternoons, in the evenings, or on weekends. We can match programs to your schedule, and you may teach as many or as few programs as you are able. The Ivy Key provides a rigorous curriculum and training, along with other support.
Qualifications:
- Student at or graduate of a competitive university (Ivy League or comparable)
- Dynamic personality inside and out of the classroom
- Responsible and organized instruction
- At least three (3) years of tutoring or classroom experience
