Our daycare is looking for a Daycare assistant who is reliable and dependable. This is a high energy position with multiple demands.
Job duties:
Assist with curriculum during circle time and group activities according to age.
Demonstrate basic age-appropriate skills in handling children's needs.
Monitor children's meals effectively and as scheduled.
Ensure that classroom materials are sanitized and well-kept in their proper places.
Make certain that children are kept clean at all times.
Ensure the children are in a safe environment by supervising all of their activities.
Handle child related accidents appropriately.
Maintain cleanliness of the classroom, toy, furniture, etc.
Contact parents as needed.
Report all incidents to immediate supervisor.
Complete/maintain departmental Sign-In/Sign-Out log on a daily basis.
Qualifications:
Mature and seasoned with at least 2 years of daycare experience, preferably in DOH Group Family Daycare
modality. Fingerprinted history.
Positive with high energy for young children.
Ability to work independently with little supervision.
High interest in early childhood education.
High School diploma
Detailed oriented and creative, who likes arts and crafts. Adapting to new ways of engaging young children.
Excellent customer service with the ability to communicate with parents and regulatory inspectors.
Spanish speaking prefer.
Hours: 8:00am to 6:00pm (rotating closing times)
Pay Rate: $450 a week cash during probation months.

Within 30 days of hire you will have to complete
