Essential Functions
1. Greet and welcome members and visitors to the credit union in a professional manner. Provide prompt, efficient, and accurate service in the processing of transactions.
2. Provide in-person and by-telephone general and specific service-related information concerning credit union services or policies.
3. Respond to email or other electronic requests submitted by members, again providing professional, prompt, efficient, and accurate service and information.
4. Respond to members with a requests, problems, and complaints and/or direct them to the appropriate person for specific information and assistance.
5. Respond to members with a through a variety of services and be well versed in understanding their use and capabilities- ITM, PopIn, Email, Online Banking Messenger and etc.
6. Open new accounts with a, and service existing accounts. Set up new account files ensuring all proper paperwork is obtained and completed. Provide members with all necessary information regarding the membership. Assist with set up of online services and eStatements.
7. Issue new and replacement debit cards, credit cards, checkbooks and temporary checks with.
8. Prove money orders and traveler's checks daily. Submit remittances as necessary.
9. Be able to calculate dividend and penalties for all accounts.
10. Handle requests from members for transfers of shares to loan payments, share withdrawals, check requests, cash transactions, CD transactions, line of credit advances, and any other requests received from members with.
11. Promote credit union products and services based on member’s needs. Be well versed and knowledgeable in credit union products, services and existing promotions with SMILE.
12. Understand, follow and assist members with the service charge schedule with.
13. Process member mail transactions.
14. Mail receipts and checks to members as indicated by policy and procedure.
15. Assist members in completing loan applications. Insure that each application is filled out completely.
16. Collect the loan documents from the member and follow up.
17. Process name and address change information. Process other information changes with the proper paperwork completed.
18. Process wire transfer and international transfers and currency orders and ensure that proper signatures are obtained on all forms.
19. Provide information on investment alternatives to members wishing to deposit funds with the credit union with.
20. Research accounts for deposit, withdrawal, and loan-payment discrepancies.
21. Assist members in balancing their accounts with.
22. Assist members with the proper completion of ACH and direct deposits with.
23. Assist members in opening individual retirement accounts with.
24. Assist members in opening certificates and Lucky Saver accounts with.
