Position Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and engaging Guardians to join our Guest Experience & Retail team. As a Guardian, you will play a pivotal role in delivering unforgettable, immersive, and theatrical experiences for our guests. This hourly role is perfect for individuals with a passion for storytelling, guest engagement, and creating magical moments.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Experience
Welcome and engage guests with enthusiasm, ensuring each visitor feels immersed in the intergalactic narrative of INTER.
Check-in existing ticket holders, sell on-site tickets, and share key information about the experience to potential guests.
Memorize and perform short scripts and key pieces of information to enhance guest interactions and provide a seamless, story-driven experience.
Deliver exceptional service by answering questions, providing directions, and resolving guest concerns promptly and professionally.
Immersive Interaction
Actively participate in theatrical elements of the attraction, creating authentic and captivating moments that align with INTER’s storyline.
Adapt to various guest dynamics to personalize the experience and leave a lasting impression.
Retail Support
Assist guests with retail purchases, including recommending merchandise and processing transactions accurately.
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and restocking of the retail area to ensure a visually appealing space.
Promote and upsell themed products that align with INTER’s narrative.
Team Collaboration
Work closely with the Guest Experience team to align on daily operations and provide a cohesive experience for all visitors.
Maintain open communication with teammates and supervisors to ensure smooth daily operations.
Provide feedback to the management team about the experience, including which touchpoints our guests are enjoying and which ones are confusing.
Qualifications
1-3 years of experience in immersive museums, attractions, or guest-facing roles, with retail experience preferred.
Strong memorization skills to deliver short scripts and key information confidently and naturally.
Enthusiastic and engaging personality with a passion for guest interaction and storytelling.
Reliable attendance and punctuality are critical to success in this role.
Positive attitude and collaborative spirit to contribute to a dynamic team environment.
Experience with ticketing systems and POS (Point of Sale) systems is a plus.
Interest in space exploration, unique storylines, and immersive narratives is a plus.
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, high-energy environment while maintaining professionalism.
Compensation
Hourly Rate: $18-$22/hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
