Well-established transportation company based in Nassau County is seeking an organized, motivated, and self-directed team player for an Administrative Assistant position in our Office Management Department. This position requires an individual with excellent communication skills, strong computer skills, superior planning, and organizational skills with the ability and willingness to support other departments when necessary. Candidate Experience and Skills:
Experience with Microsoft Office Programs
Three years of office experience required.
Excellent experience working in Excel
Can work independently, with minimal supervision to meet deadlines and departmental goals.
Exceptional customer service skills both in person and by telephone
Good verbal and written communication skills
Detail oriented and organized
Experienced working in a fast-paced environment
Excel proficiency Required
Responsibilities:
Manage troubleshooting and contacts with vendors and customers
Learning our transportation booking software
Filing, scanning, and data entry
Maintain key electronic files
Work as a team member - assisting other departments as needed
working with confidential information and documents
