Job Description:

As a Customer Service Representative at our insurance agency, you will be the front-line ambassador for our valued clients. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that our customers receive outstanding service and support at every interaction. You'll handle inquiries, address concerns, and guide clients through various insurance-related processes.

Responsibilities:

- Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email, or in-person, demonstrating empathy and understanding.

- Provide accurate information regarding insurance policies, coverage options, and claims procedures.

- Assist clients in making informed decisions by explaining insurance plans, premiums, and benefits.

- Process policy changes, updates, and renewals efficiently and accurately.

- Handle and resolve customer complaints or issues, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.

- Collaborate with insurance agents and underwriters to ensure seamless customer experiences.

- Maintain and update customer records and policy information in our database.

- Educate clients on risk management strategies and promote additional insurance products or services when appropriate.

- Participate in training sessions to stay up-to-date with industry trends, products, and regulations.

- Identify opportunities to enhance customer service processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent;

- Previous experience in customer service, ideally in the insurance or financial services industry.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills with exceptional phone etiquette.

- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently in a dynamic environment.

- Proficiency in using computers and various software applications.

- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities.

- A positive attitude and a willingness to go above and beyond to assist customers.

- Knowledge of insurance policies and coverage types is a plus.
