Construction Project Manager
Job Summary:
Responsible for running multiple projects at any given time from start to finish. In addition, you will be able to participate in and help build our culture of being a trusted advisor while leading talented teams who are dedicated to excellence and building with integrity. Your goal will be to endure the ultimate success of a project and also overseeing the cost, schedule, safety, and client satisfaction. You will create value by leading assigned projects from bid process to project close out and making sure they exceed the client expectations.
Responsibilities:
Manage project subcontractors including coordination, procurement of materials and equipment, monitoring budget and cost, manage billing.
Project document control ensuring project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately. Manage/prepare cost proposals and change orders.
Project accounting functions including assistance in billing and reviewing/approving sub-contractor progress payments.
Must be able to read and interpret architectural blueprints.
Control budgets and manage cost control throughout the life of the project.
Coordinate with project architects, designers, owners, sub-contractors and field personnel.
Qualifications and skills:
Minimum of 5-10 years in residential or ground up construction. Knowledgeable about current construction methods, materials and regulations. Ability to work under pressure and coordinate numerous activities and groups of people who need to cooperate to achieve maximum efficiency. Must have good communication, teamwork and organizational skills. Computer skills a must. A valid driver’s license and acceptable driving history is required.
