Overview
The individual will be responsible for preparing individual and business tax returns for Partnerships, S Corporations, and C-Corporations. You will be working with me at my home office in Rocky Point, Long Island, NY. 2 to 3 days per week.
Responsibilities
1. Conduct detailed tax planning and preparation of federal and state income tax returns for individuals, businesses, and organizations.
2. Develop and implement strategic tax planning for clients.
3. Evaluate tax regulations and suggest policies that diminish tax burden.
Qualifications
1. Minimum of 2 years of experience in tax preparation.
2. Familiarity with U.S. federal, state, and local reporting requirements.
3. Proficient in tax software and Microsoft Office.
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
5. High level of integrity, accuracy, dependability, enthusiasm, and confidentiality.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
