As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Operate with business partners to create compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls and provide support on special requests
Assemble monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting
Create analysis on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks)
Execute monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP
Assist in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors
Participate in various initiatives spanning multiple departments
Complete other projects as required
Continually improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process
Prepare reconciliations of Balance Sheet accounts Requirements - Solid understanding of QuickBooks
Strong familiarity with Microsoft Excel
ADP - Payroll experience required
Proficient at analyzing financial data and promptly creating accurate reports
Dedication and requisite skills to meet critical business deadlines
BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are highly desired
Self-starter and strong ethical standards
Knowledgeable of ERP systems
A candidate with financial reporting systems proficiency will be the best fit for this position
Strong time management and organizational skills
Minimum 5-7 years of overall general accounting experience
Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic and constantly changing company environment
Skilled in analytical, quantitative and social skills
Demonstrated skills in interacting effectively, both verbally and in writing, with functional managers
Understanding of corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required
SOX internal control assessments (Section 404) experience
