We are seeking a skilled residential Lead Carpenter to join our team. You will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks associated with home building.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Lead and manage carpentry teams on residential construction projects.
+ Interpret and work from blueprints.
+ Construct and install building frameworks, including walls, floors, and doorframes.
+ Install structures and fixtures, such as windows, doors, molding and tile.
+ Knowledge of electrical and plumbing.
+ Ensure all work meets building codes and safety standards.
+ Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and other trades to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
+ Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
+ Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
+ Proven experience as a Lead Carpenter in construction.
+ Extensive knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, materials, and equipment.
+ Strong understanding of building codes and safety regulations.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
+ Excellent leadership and team management skills.
+ Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
+ Good physical condition and stamina.
+ Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
+ OSHA certification or other relevant safety certifications preferred.
+ Minimum of 5 years of experience in residential carpentry.
+ Previous experience in a supervisory or lead role is highly desirable.
