We hit the sweet spot between fine art and gritty construction.
The work ranges from log work, concrete and framing to delicate work many seasoned builders would scoff at.
We also develop our own techniques/processes completely unique to our operation.
It's been difficult to find the right fit for someone that can operate at a high level with all we do.
Right now we are working on a large ambitious project and continue the search.
What are we looking for?
Someone who can be a crew leader without being a total ass. Lead with care, not out of fear.
Ideally the candidate has both shop fabrication and on-site, KNUCKLE-BUSTING construction experience.
Be able to operate with minimal tolerances on site and with precision in the shop.
We do LOTS of smaller (and some larger) concrete work and high end plaster/stucco finishes.
We also do really beautiful work with wood and at times LITERALLY build art for people.
A basic knowledge of welding is also really hand but we can teach for the kind of metal work we need.
Of course the handyman skillset it requisite. (basic household plumbing, electrical etc)
We also work a lot with a mini-excavator and compact tractor moving dirt and gravel, etc around a large property and work out on the land in "the bush" a lot.
One of the most IMPORTANT quality needed is someone who can full think through a project, understand what is needed, and hit that sweet spot of GET IT DONE NOW with get it done RIGHT.
This is a great opportunity for someone who loves to build and takes pride in what they do.
