The successful candidate will have the knowledge and skills necessary to teach both introductory and advanced Mathematics classes in geometry, algebra, trigonometry, pre-calculus, and calculus. Candidate Profile:Content expertise, a desire and ability to teach students from diverse backgrounds on an individual level, and a love for mathematics education are all required. Effective communication skills, a willingness to actively engage our students in their learning, and an eagerness to be active in the life of the school community are additional musts. A Bachelor's degree is required. A completed (or in-progress) master's degree in Mathematics, Education or a related field is preferable. Role and Responsibilities:The candidate will be expected to participate fully in all obligations of a high school teacher, incorporating modern and ever-changing educational technology to suit students' learning. In addition to classroom instruction, additional responsibilities may include proctoring assignments, chaperoning events, and attending extracurricular programming.
