Skills & Qualifications:
Mechanical Engineering degree or Associates in Science with a focus on design and manufacturing (7-10 years of experience with complex machinery and or hydraulic components)
Familiar with 3D modeling software's, specifically Inventor
Familiarity with FEA and CFD software
Ability to accurately quote prospective opportunities
Knowledge of measuring and testing equipment
Troubleshooting skills
Job Description:
New product development - full cycle product mechanical design for hydraulics, ball valves, etc.
Design failure analysis (FEA)
Design and develop standard and prototype hydraulic components and systems
Improving existing product drawings
Design testing systems for product validation
Conduct DFMEAs on new projects
Adhere to ISO 9001 Quality Management System
