What you will be doing:In this role you will be overseeing the repair and maintenance of containers, managing the washing and cleaning process of containers, and ensuring that all equipment and tools are properly maintained and in good working condition.You will also:Monitor stock levels of materials and spare parts, ordering as necessary to avoid disruptions.Provide hands on support to staff on the ground – time on tools, leading by example.Liaise with other team leaders to ensure timely turn arounds of work bays.Ensure robust maintenance plans are in place and are followed.Maintain high standards of workmanship and quality control in all repair and wash functions.Conduct regular inspections of completed work to ensure it meets company standards.Monitor and ensure KPI targets are met and communicated to the depot manager.Ensure all repair activities are conducted in compliance with company health and safety policies.Conduct morning toolbox team meetings.Maintain accurate records of all repair and wash activities.Ensure proper documentation and reporting of any incidents, accidents, or near-misses.You are someone with the ability to assist and provide training/coaching to staff members, as well as managing their timekeeping, attendance, and performance records.
