Multiple Positions Being Filled: Abele Tractor & Equipment Co., Inc. is seeking experienced, and highly motivated individuals to join the team in our heavy equipment service department. The chief responsibility of the diesel mechanic will be repairing, maintaining, servicing, equipment for customers, and for our extensive fleet of construction equipment. A well-qualified candidate should have the following attributes: Experience with diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, Tier IV emission experience, knowledge of DEF/DPF systems. A strong work ethic, problem solving skills, and excellent verbal communication skills are a must. Also required is the ability to work alone, as well as with other mechanics, clients, and co-workers. School and Technical Training are not required, but a plus. A willingness to attend training and technical school which may require travel. Equipment knowledge should include, but not limited to: Wheel Loaders, Excavators, Bull Dozers; Tractor, Loaders, Mini-Excavators, backhoes, Rough Terrain Fork Lifts etc.
Compensation is hourly and based on experience. Paychecks are issued on a weekly basis. Benefits include a competitive wage, overtime, health insurance, pension, a comfortable working environment and more.
