We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Patient Services Representative. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and administrative support in a chiropractic clinic.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a warm and welcoming environment
- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar
- Help launder linens and light weekly cleaning
- Assist patients with completing necessary forms and paperwork
- Answer phone calls and address patient inquiries or concerns
- Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of information
- Process payments and handle billing inquiries
- Coordinate referrals to other healthcare providers as needed
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure smooth patient flow
Skills:
- Previous experience in a medical office or similar administrative support role is preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
- Proficient in using office software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite)
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information
- Exceptional customer service skills and ability to work well in a team
