Outdoor/Nursery Yard Associate. Part-time Position. Weekends required.
Jackalope has operated in New Mexico for more than 47 years. We are retail store that sells home and garden decor. Peak planting and gardening season begins in May (thru October). Help our customers create beautiful gardens. Full-time position/s also available. Previous nursery experience not required but welcomed.
Job Responsibilities/Duties
Water, prune and merchandise plants (key part of job)
Greet, Direct, and Help customers with questions
Unload new deliveries and prepare merchandise for sale
Help customers to their cars with merchandise
Clean and maintain nursery yard and outdoors (sweeping, product tagging, snow removal)
Help customers select plants and specimens (as you learn about nursery)
Cross train in other departments
All other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
Must be able to stand on your feet most of the day
Must be able to work OUTSIDE for most of the day
Must be able to routinely and repeatedly lift and carry 20-40 lbs.
Must be able to routinely and repeatedly push and move up to 75 lbs.
Must be a team player with a friendly and warm demeanor.
Must be able to show up on time and work when scheduled
Must be able to work Saturday and Sunday.
Bilingual (Spanish) a plus

min 2 days/week (including weekends)
