Escondido Santa Fe is a new, fast paced restaurant opening in Santa Fe, NM in July 2024!

Our goal is to create fun and memorable dining experiences for our guests by delivering fresh, high quality Mexican/Southwestern cuisine in a vibrant and energetic environment!

At Escondido Santa Fe, alongside his culinary endeavors, Chef/ Owner Fernando Ruiz, 3 time Food Network champion, is giving back by being a co-creator and enacting a re-entry program for incarcerated and ex-incarcerated individuals specializing in teaching culinary and work place skills and integration into all positions of the hospitality workplace.

As we gear up to open Chef Fernando Ruiz’s new restaurant, Escondido Santa Fe, we are excitedly seeking a fun, outgoing and professional results-oriented Restaurant Manager to join the Escondido team and help us represent our commitment to excellence in dining experiences. As a seasoned leader in the hospitality industry, you will bring your extensive expertise to drive the success of Escondido.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership: Lead by example, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment. Inspire and motivate the team to deliver exceptional service and uphold our standards of excellence.

Operations Management: Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring seamless coordination and communication between front-of-house and back-of-house teams. Implement efficient processes to optimize workflow and enhance guest satisfaction and experience.

Team Development: Recruit, train, develop and retain a diverse and talented team. Foster a culture of growth and empowerment, providing empathy, ongoing coaching and support for moving up the ladder.

Conflict Management: Implement proactive conflict resolution strategies, ensuring smooth operations during service. Foster open communication and mediate disputes swiftly and effectively. Cultivate a positive work environment by addressing conflicts with empathy and professionalism. Uphold the highest standards of customer satisfaction while managing any challenges that may arise.

Financial Management: Demonstrate strong financial acumen to manage budgets, control costs, and maximize profitability. Assist in setting and achieving revenue targets while maintaining high-quality standards.

Guest Experience: Prioritize guest satisfaction by consistently delivering outstanding service. Anticipate and address customer needs, maintaining a welcoming and hospitable atmosphere.

Technology Aptitude: Utilize and master restaurant management software for efficient order processing and inventory management. Embrace digital payment systems for seamless transactions and customer convenience. Train team members on utilizing technology effectively to streamline tasks and improve productivity.

Compliance: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations. Uphold company policies and procedures to maintain operational integrity and protect our brand reputation.

Qualifications:

-Proven track record of success in restaurant management. A minimum of 5 years of experience in diverse culinary

environments and we will see all resumes.

-Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve goals.

-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on fostering positive relationships with staff and guests.

-Excellence in conflict resolution, capable of handling challenging situations with professionalism and grace, ensuring

guest satisfaction and experience

-Financial acumen and experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

-Familiarity with restaurant technology and point-of-sale systems, with a willingness to embrace new software

applications and be comfortable training.

-Thorough understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations.

-Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
