Immunocompromised Artist Seeks Housekeeper/Assistant for Non-Toxic Household

TASKS:
Deep, meticulous cleaning
Laundry
Household organization and upkeep
Help with lifting, carrying, etc
Small fix-it jobs
Running errands
Grocery shopping
Caring for a very sweet and easily managed 25lb dog
Optional miscellaneous assistance, such as:
o Orders & Inventory
o Email assistance and computer work
o Scheduling appointments and making calls on my behalf
o Driving me to doctor’s appointments
YOU MUST:
Be fluent in English, spoken and written
Be a skilled communicator
Be highly organized and detail oriented
Anticipate needs and be able to keep the household running smoothly
Be dependable, trustworthy, and able to commit to the position for at least one year
Use the provided non-toxic, eco-friendly cleaning products
Be able to accommodate someone with noise, chemical, and electrical sensitivities; this includes using no scented personal products or clothing with scented laundry detergent while working
Leave your phone and other electronics off, on airplane mode, or in the car while working
Be physically able to perform required tasks (i.e. climb ladder, carry laundry or packages between home and office, lift/carry large glass water jugs, etc.)
Be comfortable with and able to incorporate consistent feedback
Be flexible- While you will have a set weekly schedule, flexibility is a must to allow coverage for other team members in case of emergency or planned time off (with the knowledge that the same flexibility for time off will be afforded to you!)
Hours: Approximately 10-40hrs across 2-5 days per week. This would consist of roughly 10 hours housekeeping, and up to 30 hours assisting depending on availability and skill.
Schedule: Sundays are ideal, as are consecutive workdays (ie. Sunday-Tuesday). Shifts would generally begin around noon or later. Exact days/hours are negotiable until a set weekly scheduled is agreed upon. This could include a mix of 2-10hr shifts, depending on how many days/hours you choose to work weekly. As noted above, flexibility is both required from you and afforded to you in case of illness, emergencies, vacations, etc.
Location: Primary location is my home, near Harry’s Roadhouse. Secondary location (for laundry, assisting tasks, etc) is an office located off Rodeo and St. Francis Dr.
Compensation: $20-$25/hr, depending on experience. Employees must complete a W-4 and are paid biweekly via ADP.

You must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and live locally (or be willing to relocate at your own expense)
Professional references, a background check, and a signed nondisclosure agreement are required
