A local non-profit school is seeking an enthusiastic full time Kindergarten Teacher to provide daily classroom activities during the school-year; capable with engaging students in early literacy and numeracy skills, gross and fine motor skill building, while using a variety of traditional and creative practices; no standardized testing involved. We work standard school-day hours, with some after-school obligations over the course of the school year. We are seeking applicants who have some experience working with children, in pre-K/elementary school, or even summer camp.

A successful applicant is: flexible and open-minded; likes working on a team with supportive colleagues; able to professionally and promptly communicate with other teachers, parents, and students; detail-oriented, tech confident - can successfully navigate Google Drive and compose weekly class updates; facilitate P/T conferences; attend scheduled monthly staff meetings; can sit on the floor with students and assist with playground duties; is compassionate and kind, believes in the potential of every child.
