Classification Summary:
Under general supervision, in addition to the responsibilities of Electronics Technician - Associate provides routine support and tests and diagnoses. Prepares materials, components, and assemblies for evaluation. Interprets engineering change orders, blueprints, diagrams, sketches, photographs, or other process and product documentation as they relate to assigned duties. Participates in the development of process control manuals/documentation. Provides training to quality production operators.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Using established procedures and working independently, performs assigned technical tasks. Fabricates, tests, and installs experimental circuitry or completes prototype model according to engineering instructions and technical manuals. Provides project field support for various telemetry systems.
Special Requirements:
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Ability to obtain a DoD clearance and maintain clearance throughout employment.
This position is subject to random drug testing in compliance with its drug-free workforce requirements.
This position has been established as a primary key position under the “All Hazard Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP)” and is essential to operational continuity and/or recovery. In an emergency situation, primary key positions are required to report to work unless directed by supervisor or public safety authorities not to report for health and safety reasons.
