Description We are offering a permanent employment opportunity in ALBUQUERQUE, New Mexico, for a Tax Preparer. As a Tax Preparer, you'll be a part of an industry that demands understanding of tax laws, usage of various accounting software, and provision of excellent customer service. Responsibilities: Prepare, review, and submit various types of tax returns like 1040's, S-corporations, and C-corporations. Ensure full compliance with all federal, state, and local tax regulations. Assist clients with tax planning and advisory services. Stay abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations. Address clients' tax-related inquiries effectively. Liaise with the CPA team to ensure tax compliance and reporting. Resolve any tax-related concerns and issues. Use accounting software systems like ADP - Financial Services, CCH ProSystem Fx, CCH Sales Tax, Drake Tax Software proficiently. Perform routine accounting functions and data entry tasks. Understand and apply knowledge of allowances and deductions. Requirements Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is mandatory Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services is required Must have experience working with CCH ProSystem Fx Knowledge of CCH Sales Tax is essential Prior usage of Drake Tax Software is desirable Understanding of various Accounting Functions is necessary Awareness of Allowances in the field of taxation is expected Exceptional Customer Service skills are vital Must possess adept Data Entry skills Knowledge of Deductibles in taxation is required Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
