Tax Preparer

Description We are offering a contract for a Tax Preparer role in ALBUQUERQUE, New Mexico. The role is within the financial services industry and includes responsibilities such as preparing and filing tax returns, analyzing financial documents, and advising clients on tax-related inquiries. Responsibilities: Corp and Individual taxes, c-corp, s-corp Accurately compute tax obligations based on analysis of financial documents. Prepare and submit both federal and state tax returns for individual and business clients. Offer advice on tax-related questions and financial matters to our clients. Stay updated on the latest tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance. Help clients with the organization of necessary documents for tax preparation. Work together with team members to handle complex tax situations, including matters related to corporate accounting. Uphold the confidentiality of client data and adhere to ethical standards in public accounting. Utilize accounting software systems such as ADP, CCH ProSystem Fx, CCH Sales Tax, and Drake Tax Software. Perform customer service and data entry duties as required.
