Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity in ALBUQUERQUE, New Mexico, 87107-4829, United States, for a Tax Preparer. The Tax Preparer will be instrumental in the financial services sector, ensuring tax compliance and providing advisory services to clients. This role involves extensive interaction with the CPA team and clients, staying updated on tax regulations, and utilizing accounting software systems.Responsibilities: Prepare, review, and submit various types of tax returns, including 1040's, S-corporations, and C-corporations. Guarantee full compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations. Provide clients with tax planning and advisory services. Keep abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations to offer updated guidance to clients. Address and resolve clients' tax-related inquiries effectively. Collaborate with the CPA team to support tax compliance and reporting. Use accounting software systems for efficient processing and data entry. Resolve any tax-related concerns and issues proactively. Offer guidance to clients to help minimize liabilities and maximize benefits. Maintain accurate customer credit records and take appropriate action based on the data. Requirements Demonstrated proficiency in Accounting Software Systems Experience with ADP - Financial Services Proficiency in CCH ProSystem Fx and CCH Sales Tax Familiarity with Drake Tax Software Ability to perform Accounting Functions effectively Knowledge of Allowances in the field of taxation Strong Customer Service skills Proficiency in Data Entry Comprehensive understanding of Deductibles in taxation Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with clients.
