- Associate's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline, or higher. Relevant work experience and training may be considered in lieu of a degree, similar to Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) Crediting Combinations of Education and Experience standard.
- 0-3+ Years' experience of support service of components of PC/Hardware, telephony, wireless networking, hardware/software installation/patching exclusive of server rooms and data centers, limited testing, and operations. Demonstrated capability performing client support, basic networking tasks, troubleshoot and work creatively to resolve identified problems. Willingness/capability to learn additional advanced skills.
- Employee must possess and maintain IA computing environment certifications and access levels in accordance with DoD Directives (DoDD) 8140/8570.01-M.
- Ability to organize, prioritize and meet deadlines
- Capable of conveying complex technical information in a manner understandable by general users
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Strong self-starter requiring minimal supervision
- Able to take proactive measures to prevent problems
- Strong verbal and written communication in order to work with customers
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
