A Hamilton NJ Construction Based Company is seeking a permanent, full-time bookkeeper/office manager due to pending retirement. This a full-time job and available immediately. This is not a remote position.
Requirements:
- Prior (at least 2-4 years) of bookkeeping experience required.
- Good communication skills
- Self motivator, professional attitude, responsible, dependable, energetic
- Willing to take direction and learn
- A strong knowledge of Gmail, Word, Excel, and Power Point, and QuickBooks is a must.
- Must be highly organized and detail oriented
- Strong written, verbal and organizational skills
- Must be a team player willing to assist with all other department needs.
- Must have a valid and clean driver's license, clean background, and be a US citizen with valid social.
Responsibilities:
- Banking
-Processing Weekly Payroll
- Generating Certified Prevailing Wage compliance & Payroll Reports (AIA Documents Certified Payroll)
- Entering all purchase orders, invoices, bills, etc. into QuickBooks, Smart Sheets.
- Weekly check payment runs.
- Heavy email and phone correspondence with vendors and customers
- Maintaining Customer compliance portals
- Job Costing payroll entries & vendor expenses.
- Assist sales reps with processing new customer orders
- Maintain a fully electronic filing system
- Monthly Credit Card Expense allocations
- Answer phones and take messages as needed

We are offering 45,000.00 / 50,000.00 year starting salary consummate with experience.
Hours are 8am-5pm. Employee will have to complete a background check and a drug test.
