Description If you have a passion for Human Resources and you're looking for an exciting, new Generalist opportunity, Robert Half has the opportunity for you as a Human Resources Generalist. This role involves various HR duties, including recruiting, owning new hire orientation, managing the employee handbook, and handling employee relations.Key responsibilities

Work with other members of the HR department to oversee the hiring and onboarding process for new company employees

Create onboarding plans and educate newly hired employees on internal procedures, HR policies, and regulations

Design & /or support a recruitment plan according to operational and business projections

Manage digital and physical files for employees and their documents, including benefits, attendance records, and annual reviews

Employee relations, involving engaging employees and coordinating sensitive conversations

Develop templates for HR documents, including the Employee Handbook

Evaluate employee performance, including assisting with annual reviews, appraising pay scales, and coordinating disciplinary action (including terminations if necessary)

Compare local, state, and federal laws to current internal policies and procedures

Develop employee engagement plans, including budget approvals and management oversite

Responsible for operations tasks for the HR department

Create official internal documents such as offer letters, appointment letters, salary adjustments, updates to the employee handbook, leave of absences, and warning/termination letters

Collaborate with upper management, employees, and third-party vendors Requirements - Excellent written and verbal business skills

This role needs to be highly professional; able to use good judgment and maintain a high level of confidentiality and sensitivity

Experience using Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)

Proven understanding local, state and federal laws

Proficient with office computer applications and software, as well as social media platforms

Prior HR Generalist experience

Experience with full cycle recruiting

Prior experience coordinating and implementing Open Enrollment is a plus

Willing to work as part of a team or independently and have the drive to take on a variety of tasks and projects

B.A. or B.S. degree preferred, preferably with a Human Resources or Psychology emphasis
