SUMMARY

A dynamic full-time opportunity supporting both warehouse operations and planning functions. This role involves hands-on work with inventory systems, including receiving and stocking materials, pulling sales and work orders, and assisting in packaging and logistics activities. Additionally, the position includes training in planning and purchasing procedures within an MRP environment to ensure efficient material flow and production scheduling.

This position is ideal for a detail-oriented individual who enjoys physical warehouse work and is eager to grow into a planning and procurement role. The right candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting with responsibilities that evolve as experience is gained.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Receive and issue materials; accurately stock parts in MRP system

Conduct cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies

Maintain inventory accuracy for stockroom materials and supplies

Pack instruments and prepare shipment boxes

Assist with documenting packing procedures

Return rejected materials for credit or repair

Support the generation and updating of production reports (e.g., roadmaps)

Help resolve receiving issues in collaboration with Accounts Payable

Progress to handling planning and purchasing functions, including RFQs, presenting vendor options to management, and creating purchase orders

Maintain a clean and organized workspace

Assist with other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

Background in purchasing, planning, or inventory control

Familiarity with MRP and ERP systems strongly preferred

APICS or ISM certification is a plus

High school diploma required. Associate’s degree preferred

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to multi-task and remain proactive under pressure

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to read and interpret blueprints

Dependable, hard-working, and team-oriented
