We are seeking an Assistant Designer with basic knowledge of design programs. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising the production process, ensuring product quality, and coordinating with the team to meet established deadlines.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Supervise and coordinate the production process of signs and awnings.
Ensure that all products meet the company's quality standards.
Collaborate with the design team to correctly interpret and execute designs.
Use basic design programs to make minor adjustments and verify specifications.
Maintain inventory of materials and place orders as necessary.
Coordinate with suppliers and customers to ensure timely delivery.
Communicate instructions and feedback to the team, using basic English and Spanish.
Resolve production problems and suggest process improvements.
Comply with safety regulations and maintain a safe and organized work environment.
Requirements:
Basic knowledge of design programs (such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar).
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
Ability to work as a team and communicate effectively with other departments.
Commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
Previous experience in designing and project management a plus or a similar manufacturing environment.
Experience:
Assistant Designer / Production Signs and Awnings: 2 year (Preferred)
Basic knowledge in design programs: 2 year (Preferred)
Basic sign installation: 2 year (Preferred)
