Position Title: Manual Machinist
Location: Roxbury, NJ
Type: Part-Time, Permanent Position
Hours: 8 hours per week - flexible during business hours (Monday to Friday), no weekends, no holidays. Work can be scheduled as one full day or two half days.
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Manual Machinist to join our team on a part-time basis. This position is ideal for a retired or semi-retired machinist but is open to anyone who meets the qualifications. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience operating a Bridgeport milling machine and manual lathes, along with general metal shop experience working with aluminum and stainless steel. We have been a small manufacturer in North New Jersey for over 60 years. Come join a team with a solid reputation and decades of experience.
Responsibilities:
Operate Bridgeport milling machine and manual lathes.
Perform general metal shop tasks.
Work with materials including aluminum and stainless steel.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a manual machinist.
Proficiency with Bridgeport milling machine and manual lathes.
General experience working with aluminum and stainless steel.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
Compensation:
Hourly pay commensurate with experience.
