We are currently seeking a experienced, reliable, and motivated CNC machinist/programmer to join our manufacturing team. You will be responsible for part programming, tool selection, as well as job setup and operation in a small lot machining/R&D environment. The ideal candidate will be proficient in understanding technical drawings and sketches.
CNC Machinist/Programmer responsibilities
Work from complex prints to program and machine parts of various materials
Set and adjust work/tool offsets as necessary
Independently select and set up tooling and fixtures
Monitor the run of parts in cycle and after completion to ensure that specifications and
tolerances are met
Be proficient in using and understanding all common machine shop measuring tools, such as
micrometers, calipers, height gauge, indicators, ID/OD micrometers, etc.
Required qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent, technical school certification a plus
CNC machining experience
Strong knowledge of lathe and mill tooling/inserts
Be able to properly follow verbal instructions as well as interpret technical drawings/sketches
Must have a valid driver license
