Textile Manufacturer located in Clifton, NJ. We are seeking an individual with experience in the manufacture and cutting of textiles to help supervise our cutting room. This is a position that has opportunity to grow with our company and the individual who is hired will receive proper training.
Responsibilities:
Supervise the cutting area.
Help guide cutting room staff on projects and daily orders.
Create cut and yield worksheets.
Accurately cut fabrics based on templates or cut tickets.
Maintain cutting area and tools in an organized and safe manner.
Work closely with graphic artists and sewing team to ensure consistency and quality.
Ideal Candidate:
Experience in fabric cutting and sewing.
Math skills.
Must be able to pick up a roll of fabric.
Strong attention to detail and time management.
Languages: English or Spanish. Bi-lingual a plus.
