Plant Assistant & General Helper
Uncle Abies Factory LLC is a new meat provisions factory focused on producing high-quality cured meats with traditional techniques and an uncompromising commitment to excellence. We're looking for dependable, hard-working individuals to join our small but passionate team.
Position 1: Plant Assistant
Responsibilities include:
Assisting in the production of cured meats (salting, hanging, aging, packaging) and hot dogs (grinding, mixing, stuffing, and smoking)
Follow recipes
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Helping maintain production records and inventory
Learning and following food safety standards and procedures (USDA supervised)
Requirements:
Attention to detail and cleanliness
Interest in traditional food production
Prior experience is helpful but not required—we’ll train the right person
Comfortable with physical work and being on your feet
A reliable person who enjoys working with their hands
Position 2: General Helper (Cleaning & Transport)
Responsibilities include:
Cleaning workspaces and equipment
Assisting with loading/unloading deliveries
Help keep the facility clean, safe, and organized
General support tasks as needed around the facility
Requirements:
Reliable and punctual
Able to lift 25 lbs and be on your feet for extended periods
Respectful of cleanliness and sanitation protocols
No prior experience required – just a good attitude and work ethic
