The Spray Line Operator is responsible for coating and priming items per customer
specifications and blueprints, to create pieces of work that reflect Czar’s dedication to
quality, aesthetically pleasing work.

Responsibilities:
● Experience working with finishes for all types of woods and veneers
● Responsible for preparing work to enter the finishing area and/or sands between
coats of finish
● Apply finish/paint efficiently while maintaining quality standards by hand or using a
spray gun
● Ability to read and interpret shop drawings
● Calculate mix ratios as per manufacturer’s specs
● Able to perform touch ups and repairs
● Ability to apply primer, top coat paint, stain, and any wiped or spray-applied
coatings to detailed parts as per customer specifications and industry quality
standards
● Remove excess material and prepare the surface for finishing
● Cleaning and maintaining spraying equipment, nozzles, and spray guns after each
job
● Wearing the requisite uniform and taking necessary precautions to remain safe
Steel-Toed Boots Required
Qualifications:
● Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
● Minimum 3 years of cabinet and millwork experience
● Minimum 3 years of experience with shop lacquer, staining, polyurethane finishing
as well as familiarity with spray equipment and color mixing and equipment
● Ability to meet tight deadlines without sacrificing workmanship
● Reading and understanding technical documents such as paint mixing procedure
● Team Player with strong work ethics
● Excellent verbal communication skills
● Must be professional and reliable
● Physical Fitness, including ease of movement and the capacity to lift up to 50lbs
● Good Math Skills with ability to read a ruler
● Must be familiar with department tools and machines
● Must have working experience with a Cefla (or equal) finishing line
