Maintenance technician for an apartment complex needed.
This is a Full-Time job with benefits; paid sick and vacation time, health benefits, 401K plan, after probationary period.
Hours: 8 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
Experience preferred. Will train as necessary. You should have your own basic tools.
Job Description:
Maintain the day-to-day operations of the property under the direction of the Property Manager.
Areas of responsibility to include (but not limited to):
Responsible for the completion of all maintenance service requests as assigned.
Complete make-ready process of vacant apartments.
Light plumbing and electrical repairs.
Drywall Repair, spackle, painting, vinyl flooring, carpentry, tile repair.
Responsible for 24 – hour emergency maintenance service as scheduled (after becoming live-on).
Complete grounds work, which may include picking up trash, sweeping curb and dumpster areas.
Snow removal, masonry
Job Requirements:
Experience in all phases of apartment maintenance or relevant experience is preferred.
Must be able to work in a team and independently.
MUST LIVE CLOSE TO WORK OR READY TO RELOCATE.
Must pass the background check.
Must be able to work occasional Overtime when needed/scheduled.
Must be able to lift a maximum of 50-100 lbs. on occasion with frequent lifting carrying up to 50 lbs.
Must be willing to become live-on maintenance person in the future as needed.
Must have a valid Drivers License.
Must have and be able to use a Smartphone as part of job responsibilities.
