The Position: We are looking for a Dental Hygienist to help treat patients and promote good oral health. You will work closely with healthcare professionals and patients under the supervision of healthcare professionals to ensure quality care. We are looking for an energetic, reliable, and compassionate individual who is passionate about providing excellent care to our patients. The ideal candidate will be open to new ideas, works well under pressure, and is willing to learn. Monday- Friday ( One hour lunch Break) Experience a MUST! Start Immediately. (40 hrs per week).
Requirements:
Dental hygiene degree
Active license to practice Dental Hygiene
CPR/First Aid/AED certification or ability to obtain certification
Working knowledge of Dentrix software
Willingness to learn about dental health care practices and procedures, Dental Health Act regulations, and dental hygienist regulations
Strong attention to detail in the clinical setting
Punctual and reliable
Must have reliable transportation to and from work as this position requires frequent travel within the Edgewater, NJ area (local transport will be provided for trips to appointments).

Responsibilities:
·Examine patient’s teeth and examine their mouths during the dental procedure.
·Take X-rays of patient’s teeth and record information into the system (such as x-rays, vital signs, etc.)
·Take impressions of patient’s teeth for study using dental technology such as dental prosthodontic instruments.
·Educate patients about proper oral health maintenance and preventative care.
·Prepare and clean treatment rooms and instruments.
·Prepare materials as needed for office operations. (e.g., filling out forms, mailing documents)
