We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our friendly team of professionals on a temporary basis, which may lead to a part time position.
Our hygienist plays a vital role in providing quality dental care to our patients. Your primary responsibility will be to perform dental cleanings and provide oral hygiene instructions. Duties:
- Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, root planing, and polishing
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized oral hygiene instructions
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical history and treatment plans
- Follow strict infection control protocols and maintain aseptic technique throughout all procedures
- Perform patient assessments, including reviewing medical history and taking vital signs
Requirements:
- Valid NJ dental hygiene license
- Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program
- Proficiency in using dental software systems for scheduling and charting
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and medical coding
- Strong communication skills with the ability to educate patients on oral health practices
- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with other dental professionals
We offer competitive compensation based on experience and qualifications.
This position is available for the month of April. Office hours are Mon., Tues., Thurs., and Fri: 9am to 5 pm. Lunch is unpaid from 1 to 2 pm.
