We are a small family and cosmetic dental practice (solo-doctor) looking for a full-time friendly hygienist to join our team. Hours 30-35hrs/week.
Responsibilities:
- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth
- Take digital X-rays and i-tero scans
- Administer local anesthesia to patients as needed
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide recommendations for at-home care
- Conduct thorough dental assessments and screenings - Maintain accurate and detailed digital patient records
- Follow strict infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment
Qualifications:
- Valid NJ Dental Hygiene license
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program
- Experienced Dental Hygienist or new graduates
- Proficient in using dental software (Dentrix and Dexis) for patient records and charting
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate and explain procedures to patients
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Understanding of dental anatomy and oral health conditions
