Looking for a unique and rewarding summer opportunity? Look no further! A professional chef is needed at Camp K20, a family camp located in the heart of Harriman State Park near Bear Mountain, NY.
In your role as head chef, you'll oversee both the crafting outstanding culinary creations and the management of kitchen personnel. You will get to showcase your culinary skills by planning the weekly menu, coordinating with the dining hall manager on special events, ordering food, maintaining inventory, and collaborating with the staff to provide a safe and healthy food service operation.
The dining hall is closed on Mondays. On Tuesdays through Friday, we serve anywhere from 30-70 patrons daily, with larger volumes on weekends. In addition to regular meals, you will have a chance to show off your creativity through special events, including themed dinners and Sunday brunch.
This position is perfect for someone who wants to spend their summer in a beautiful location, cooking up delicious meals, and making lasting memories. The season will last around 8 weeks, starting at the end of June and ending in the middle of August. The exact start and end times will be agreed upon prior to employment.

Requirements:
At least one year prior chef experience preparing meals for 50 plus persons in a seating
21 years of age or older
Current food handling or Safe Serve certification
Ability to pass background check
