Traditional Italian restaurant known for its fresh, high-quality ingredients and authentic flavors. We are seeking a dedicated Prep Person to assist in our kitchen operations. Approximately 40 hours per week (Wednesday through Sunday) and 17-19 dollars an hour.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and portion ingredients (chopping vegetables, slicing meats, making sauces, etc.).
Assist chefs with basic salads, cooking tasks and food assembly.
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary prep station.
Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service.
Requirements:
Previous kitchen or prep experience preferred.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes.
Knowledge of food safety and kitchen sanitation practices.
Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills.
