Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Architectural Drafter with hands-on experience using AutoCAD and Revit software. This entry-level position is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career professional who is passionate about architecture and eager to grow within a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in preparing construction documents, floor plans, elevations, sections, and details using AutoCAD and Revit
Interpret architectural sketches, markups, and design concepts into accurate technical drawings
Coordinate drawing sets under supervision and adhere to office drafting standards
Work closely with architects and project managers to support all phases of design and documentation
Participate in design meetings and site visits as needed
Maintain organized digital files and drawing logs
Qualifications:
Associate Degree in Drafting or Architectural Technology (required)
Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture (preferred)
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit (required)
Strong understanding of construction drawings and architectural drafting conventions
Ability to follow direction, manage time efficiently, and meet deadlines
Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, or other 3D modeling software
Knowledge of building codes and general construction practices
Internship or co-op experience in an architectural firm
