We are seeking a dedicated Tax Professional/Accountant to join our team on a year-round basis. This role offers flexibility with an expectation of approximately 20+ hours per week. During tax season, weekend availability is preferred.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in tax preparation and review.
CPA license preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and review business and personal tax returns with a high level of proficiency and accuracy.
Utilize tax software, ideally CCH ProFx.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
Provide exceptional client service and support.
Performance Expectations:
Execute thorough and accurate tax filings to ensure compliance and maximize client benefits.
Collaborate effectively with team members to meet deadlines and deliverables.
Adapt to changing tax laws and regulations to inform and guide clients appropriately.
Pricing/Rate commensurate with ability - we pay above scale.
