We are seeking a dedicated Tax Professional/Accountant to join our team on a year-round basis. This contract role offers flexibility. Expectation of approximately 20+ hours per week. During tax season, weekend availability is preferred and hours will increase. We pay above scale.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
Minimum 5 years of experience in tax preparation and review.
CPA license preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and review business and personal tax returns with a high level of proficiency and accuracy.
Experience with tax software - CCH ProFx.
Advanced QuickBooks and Excel skills.
Knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
History of providing tax services and planning.
Performance Expectations:
Execute thorough and accurate tax filings to ensure compliance and provide value to our clients.
Collaborate effectively with team members to meet deadlines and deliverables.
Understanding of tax law and prior experience is vital.
Contract pay rate commensurate with ability - will be above scale.
