Part Time Accounting Position

Sales business looking for a part time accounting person/controller. Flexible hours much of which can be done from home. Looking to have someone show up Mondays and Fridays for a few hours and perhaps a 4 hour day Wed. Total estimated hours is 20 maximum. Key responsibility would be payroll (some salaried workers, 12-15 hourly depending on how busy it is. Due to the worker population nature, there are often payroll questions. Bank rec, reconciling petty cash (not much), tracking on line incoming/outgoing payments, bank balance, occasional wires to be sent and an occasional international wire. Need to be able to generate P & Ls monthly, offer comments on anything out of the ordinary. Review supplier invoices and freight invoices and ensure payment within terms. This would be a guarantee of 20 hours average and very likely will take less than this. We can discuss paying via payroll or you can invoice as a service provider. A background is required for the final candidate since access to the primary bank account will follow after the first 90 days or so.
