High School Diploma or GED
BLS Certification
Medical Assistant Certification
Proficient knowledge of medical terminology
Ability to multitask, prioritize and work under pressure
Strong written and oral communication skills essential
Ability to work independently and in a team environmentBasic Life Support through the American Heart Association
Preferred:
Previous CMA experience preferred
Essential Functions:
The Clinical Coordinator is responsible for performance improvement activities including chart reviews, statistical analysis, and assigned studies.
Reports results to Department Leadership, appropriate committees and PI Dashboards.
Assesses effectiveness of therapy and reports on device and interface selection, application, operational verification, modes of therapy, and all adverse reactions or side effects.
Leads educational programs for staff as requested.
Develops programs specific to orienting new staff members and other assigned areas of responsibility.
Fulfills the role of staff and charge CMA as needed.
