Bachelors Degree in Exercise Science or Exercise Physiology required
one to three years of clinical Experience
PreferredCertifications and Licenses required (if applicable)
Certification preferred (ie ACSM, ACE-Clinical Specialist, NSCS, Clinical Exercise Physiology).
ACLS and BLS certified
Essential Functions
Performs exercises instructions to all cardiac Performs exercises instructions to all cardiac patients.
Assess and service patients/members to meet the established program Assess and service patients/members to meet the established program guidelines.

Educates internal and external customers on the practice & guidelines of Educates internal and external customers on the practice & guidelines of Cardiovascular disease, rehabilitation, exercise prescription and admission process. Monitors adequate and appropriate patient exercise Monitors adequate and appropriate patient exercise sessions/treatments.
Participates in the interdisciplinary patient/member teaching Participates in the interdisciplinary patient/member teaching process.
Perform clinical exercise prescription for monitor/non monitored cardiac Perform clinical exercise prescription for monitor/non monitored cardiac rehab patients.
Records statistical information for manager as assigned and document on Records statistical information for manager as assigned and document on patient treatment as required by hospital regulations.
