Patient Schedule: Part-time/Full-time (Monday - Thursday 7:30am – 5:00pm)
Expectations:
· Working knowledge of all aspects of dentistry with a focus on dental hygiene procedures.
· Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with OSHA and CDC guidelines.
· Oral cancer screening, medical history review and documentation, periodontal charting.
· Removal of hard and soft deposits from supra- and subgingival tooth surfaces using EMS Piezon® and hand scaling/polishing.
· Patient education to improve health outcomes.
· Application of fluoride varnish, placement of Arestin™ or PerioChip®.
· Digital radiography using sensor technology.
· Computer software knowledge with clinical charting.
Requirements:
· Must be a Registered Dental Hygienist.
· Must have current American Heart Association CPR Certification.
· Five years dental hygiene experience preferred, but recent graduates will be considered.
· Local Anesthesia and Nitrous Oxide Monitoring Certifications preferred.
