Nettie’s is looking for prep cooks for immediate hire. This position can be part time to full time. Off Monday and Tuesday. This kitchen makes everything on premises from cheese to sausage to pasta all by hand.
We are looking for a prep cook to prepare fresh pasta, desserts such as cakes and ice cream, sausage, and general menu prep. A culinary focused-individual is crucial. Someone to complete daily prep with efficiency and discipline. The candidate will need to help with the overall success of the restaurant and ultimately help to obtain goals of growth.
Responsibilities will include:
-Follow instruction of Chef & Owners
Check in orders
-Set up workstation
-Clean the kitchen at the end of dinner service
-Preparation of recipes
-Write prep lists and keep an inventory of mise en place
-Keep workstation organized and clean throughout the day
-Maintain communication with teammates
Requirements:
-Understanding of cooking techniques
-A sense of urgency in all tasks
-2 Years experience in reputable establishments
- Available Wednesday - Sunday
